Busy little B's......

That's what we are...Busy little B's....Beaudry's that is!! Here is just a sampling of what we have been up to so far this summer....

Harley helping paint the front deck.... The "Z" I altered for Zoe!
Altered canvas I made for Summer with the picture of her learning to surf in Tofino last summer.
Kevin & I camping this July long weekend with the kids and five other families at Comox Lake....we all had so much fun! This is by far my favourite picture of us!
The new greenhouse that Kevin built for me in the backyard....gonna learn to grow some food....got enough kids to eat it ;)

Kevin water skiing on the longweekend on Comox Lake.....I learned how to pull him around finally!! But when I went to pick him up cause he was in the water I almost ran him over with the boat....kinda funny cause we had all just finished talking about life insurance :P But I killed the motor just in time so he didn't loose anything important! :)

Zoe screaming cause she's having fun or cause she wants to stop....not sure which but makes for a good picture...don't yah think?

Summer & I working on painting the deck...yes it was a family affair...who knew the little buggers could be work horses...should have tried this years ago!! lol

Well that is all the trouble we have gotten up to so far this summer....I'm sure there will be tonnes more where that came from.

As for me....well we have been camping, working in the yard, working on the garden....trying to find time to play....trying to find time to learn more about stamping and cards! I can't believe how much there is to learn about stamping......what inks to get, what cardstock, what pencil crayons, markers....ahhhhh....slowly but surely is my motto these days....oh and Yes I am enjoying the ride!

Learning

Hi everyone!

Well I have discovered that I just love learning new things! I love creating so maybe that has something to do with it! lol....this past weekend we, ok ok Kevin, built a greenhouse in our backyard. Gotta love a guy that spends his weekend doing something for his wife cause she wants to give it a whirl....smart guy! :) So I have decided it's time to learn to grow some of my own veggies....well at least I'm gonna try! ;)

I have gotten some paper cut to make some more grids but that is as far as that has gotten....boy I wish there was more time in a day! Whoever thought of the 24hour thing was a nut! I know I know the sun has a lot to do with it...anyhow....I have committed to spending more time on my grids...how much time is still up for debate in my head...but the committment is there.

Unfortunately I have also discovered that I love so many blogs out there and they are showing me that I have soooo much to learn as far as stamping....boy I love stamping....but holly molly who knew that colorin' in an image could be so complex....yikes....my brain is on overload....hence the "unfortunate" part of this statement! lol

Life in the Beaudry house has been like this lately:

-setting up pool
-mowing lawn
-setting up trampoline
-trying to exercise periodically
-cleaning pool water
-washing a million towels
-hangin & folding laundry...gotta love the summer line!
-feeding starving little people
-birthday parties
-going to tofino
-going to coombs
-end of school...this doesn't affect me much, who am i kiddin'
-trying to find time for art
-dreaming way to much.....not sure i could pull it all off
-planning wedding shower & stag for best friend, I am the matron of honor...had the position for years we, I mean she, just had to find the man to marry
and on and on and on my life goes....good thing I love it!

Life again!

Wow my life sure gets in the way! lol...I have been very creative lately but haven't turned out a grid in over a month. WOW...I am working on:

-finished up my disneyland album (we went 3 years ago!)
-wedding album (we got married 13.5 years ago!)
-christmas album (3 years behind)
-kids school albums (3 years behind)
-went bridesmaid dress shopping in Victoria over the weekend
-working on creating new blog as this one is too limited to me...the name that is...yes I'm particular, and I would like to be able to have it be more fun/fancy....this blog stuff is lots to learn! I'm not as technical as I thought I might be :(

I will post more or maybe I'll post on the new one...when I get it up to snuff!

Surf's up!

Well today was a "normal" day! lol...as "normal" as life around me gets! :)

Work, play, eat, play......create!

Yes I created another grid tonight. I am lovin' this new paper I got. It is soooo westcoast....so surfer dude! hehe...The girls love it so much they want me to keep it...guess I will have to make another!

I have all the paper and pictures cut for my custom order (will put together tomorrow) and I have all the paper and letters ready to go for the abc grid I'm creating. So tomorrow will be a "put together" day!

May....already!

This was the last grid made in April....I can't believe it is May already! The grid is kinda a rustic cowboy theme. I like it, I like the stars! Sorry the picture is so dark, if I use my flash it whites it out....darn camera!

So the sun is shining today. The kids have school, I have work and we will all go to my ballgame tonight. How come it when the sun is up longer at night it still seems like there is not enough hours in the day?
